el 22 de octubre

Today after finding out what is new, students practiced speaking in partners, maneuvering between the preterit tense and imperfect tense.

Students then copied the meanings of certain verbs that change between preterit and imperfect (Act. p. 25). They also translated a few sentences using this concept on Act. p. 19.

We learned a little bit about the legend of La Llorona and completed a partner activity where students again had to choose between the preterit and imperfect.

Finally, we reviewed what we have read so far in the book El Cucuy and worked on the pre-reading activities together. Students then read pages 10-13 in the Cucuy book individually and completed page 9 of the Cucuy packet.
