Today we went over the gustar worksheet before taking the quiz. Students reviewed for a few minutes before taking the interpretive task (putting events of the movie in order and then listening to two sections and describing characters/scene.)

Tarea:

Projects are due May 28! Friday is a workday - those of you who were absent May 21 will have worktime after the interpretive.

Today we finished the last two parts of "La Misma Luna". If you were absent be sure to talk to me about making up these parts of the movie. We began reviewing the characters and plot of the movie, incorporating past grammar concepts from the semester in our review.

*Stations that should be finished for next class (1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10). (Pick up stations sheet from me.)

*A worksheet to review gustar verbs for our quiz next class was also passed out (Pick up from me if you were absent!)

Today we watched parts 5 y 6 of "La Misma Luna". If you missed today, be sure to catch up with what you missed (you can watch the movie during your study hall!) *This is important because your interpretive task will be taken from the movie.

We then went over Unit 7, p. 5 of the packet. We also practiced with movie vocabulary from the "Fotos" packet, p. 7.

Tarea:
 - Put phrases in order, Lecciones 5 y 6 (separate packet from last class)
 - Hoja de resumen - pick this up from me - it was handed out in class today.

Today we watched parts 3 and 4 of "La Misma Luna". Here are few hints for pages 10 and 12 of the Actividades y Cultura packet:

We then worked on gustar verbs and corrected pages 3 and 5 of the Unidad 7 Actividades packet.

Finally, we looked at movies that our classmates chose in our Google Doc activity. We tried to match students up with their movie!

Today we watched Capítulo 2 de "La Misma Luna". *If you are absent be sure to find a time that you can watch that part of the movie! You are responsible for making up what you miss from the movie!

We then practiced with gustar verbs and verbs like gustar, finishing the notes packet that we started on Wednesday.

Today we started "gustar" notes and will continue them in class on Friday.

Students also worked on a movie synopsis/trailer prediction through a Google Doc.

Finally, we started our unit movie, "La Misma Luna". We watched Pt. 1 (13 min.).

Today we practiced for the interpersonal before dividing in groups to talk about immigration.
